Nimodipine Injection
It is a calcium channel blocker. It enters the brain and it acts by blocking the entry of extracellular calcium in neurones. Being highly lipophilic nimodipine has greater action on the cerebral vessels.

Composition : 30mg/50ml
Indications : Subarachnoid haemorrhage, ischaemic neurological deficits senile dementia.
Safety Profile : Patients with hypotension, patients with impaired renal and hepatic functions, patients with cerebral oedema, patients with raised intra cranial pressure, monitor pulse and BP during IV therapy.
Adverse Effects : Epigastric distress, fall in blood pressure, flushing, nausea.
Purity : Not less than 99%.
